Currently a Governance Consultant and Business Architect for one of the largest Police Services in Canada with over 27 years’ of IT Executive, Governance and Security Management experience, with competencies in both the private (Oil & Gas, Banking, Financial, Utility and Entertainment) and public sectors (law enforcement, health services and government ministries).
Accredited skill-set spans the business and Information management functional areas, from strategic governance to operational management, incorporating proficiencies in management consulting, project management, IT service management and best practice assurance. Michael has been employed and contracted for many large private and public organizations with teams exceeding 300 members and project budgets of up to $100M.

- Edmonton Police Service: Designed and implemented an Enterprise Governance framework, IT General Control framework, a CyberSecurity Framework and a Risk Management framework. - Designed and implemented the Alberta Health Services Provincial IT Control Framework
- Transition Manager for the $100 million Government of Alberta Bundle 3 project (Central and Northern Alberta).
